These workouts include a variety of bodyweight exercises, multi-directional training, sprints and more.... And they're geared toward all levels of fitness.
Each one-hour class runs for a month at a time and the fee is $100 per month. The current class begins at 6:45 AM on Tuesdays, with more classes to come. If you'd like to join the current class or an upcoming class, or if you have questions....

"I started taking Mikki's Tuesday morning group fitness class as an affordable way to supplement my weekly private training sessions with her. I have already seen how much I've benefited over the past several months from having someone in the gym who is knowledgeable and dedicated to improving my fitness, and who also pushes me to work harder than I would on my own. The same has been true during our track workouts - though I do stadium workouts alone, they are no comparison to the hour that we get on a Tuesday morning with Mikki. There is far more variety than anything I could come up with on my own - lateral movements, jumping, sprinting, mixed in with functional fitness moves and core work - and even if I was capable of thinking up some of these moves, I wouldn't be able to push myself as hard alone as I do with Mikki running the show. This workout is a great supplement to the strength moves we do indoors, and it's also a lot of fun to be out there with other people, especially in the early morning hours in beautiful Santa Barbara !!" | "I really enjoy training with Mikki. As a former competitive athlete, I was looking for a new challenge, and I found even more than I bargained for. I have become stronger, leaner, more agile and my endurance has increased thanks to her recommendation of using interval training instead of long cardio sessions. These workouts at SBCC are a great way to take my interval training to the next level, adding variety and new challenges to the already tough interval workout that the SBCC stairs present. I also like the unusual and sometimes odd-looking exercises that I'd be hesitant to try on my own, but feel comfortable doing in a group environment, with a competent trainer to give me tips on form.
